Protecting Children from Abuse

Recent reports reveal a troubling surge in child abuse taking place in Oregon. Currently, more than 60,000 reports of child maltreatment are received each year, an 8.9% increase since 2011.

The Ravenscraft Insurance Agency is inaugurating a campaign to provide immediate support to children in the Clackamas County region suffering from abuse, sexual assault, or maltreatment. “Our only concern is ensuring that children in our area that are suffering from abuse are taken out of harm’s way, and we are using a referral and rewards program to help encourage the local community to get involved,” said agency owner and CEO Kayla Ravenscraft.
